Managing COVID-19 Anxiety
I borrowed this image from our school counselor's email that came out today. I thought it was helpful for both grown ups and parents of children. Speaking personally, I find that while I want and need to remain informed, too much media coverage or social media on the topic of COVID-19 leaves me feeling anxious, focused on what's "out there" instead of what's in front of me, and disconnected. It feels a lot like a sugar addiction to me in that it feels good in the moment but leaves me more depleted and wanting more.
